Biscoff Slice

If you like it spicy, this is great side, or additional topping for Burritos. Make it to suit your own spice palette. It creates a mouth-watering aroma in the kitchen that you look forward to dinner! Pork Medalions are great served with this rice.

Ingredients:

☐ 2 x 250g packet Biscoff Cookies

☐ 1x  410g can Lite Condensed Milk (See note)

☐ 250g Unsalted Butter ☐ 2-4 pieces 100% Cocoa Chocolate (Cacao powder)

Method:

  1. Finely break up biscuits in a food Processor, or place in a large zip lock bag and crush them with a rolling pin or a meat mallet.
  2. Melt the butter and combine with the condensed milk in a saucepan, then pour into a bowl with the crushed biscuits and combine well.
  3. Line a 20cm x 30cm slice pan with baking paper (no need to grease due to the high butter content).
  4. Sprinkle grated, shaved chocolate or Cacao powder on top and lightly press with your fingers. Place in fridge for 4 hours, or overnight to set.

5. Slice into 20 pieces (approx. 4cm x 5 cm). You can halve these to make smaller (less calories) for a quick treat

NOTE:

I use skim sweetened Condensed Milk,  in an attempt to make this ‘healthier’!
