Ingredients:
☐ 8 pitted Medjool Dates
☐ 150g raw cashews (or blanched Almonds or Almond Meal)
☐ 2 tsp Chia Seeds
☐ 2 tbsp Water (see recipe for liquid substitutes)
☐ 1 tsp Vanilla extract/paste (optional)
Variations:
Choc-Mint:
☐1 quantity of base mis
☐¼ cup Cacao
☐2 tbsp Water
☐10 drops Mint Essence (or to taste)


Choc-PB:
☐1 quantity of base mis
☐¼ cup Cacao
☐125g Natural Peanut Butter (such as Mayvers or Bega Simply Nuts)
Choc-Orange:
☐1 quantity of base mis
☐¼ cup Cacao
☐Zest from 1 Orange (approx 1 tbsp)
☐2 tbsp Orange Juice
Turkish Delight:
¼ cup Cacao
2 tbsp Rose Water
Method:
Blend all ingredients in a food processor. Roll 1 tablespoon of mixture , approx. 25g, into a ball and roll in 2/3 cup desiccated Coconut or 2 tbsp Cacao, whichever you prefer. For ease, place coconut or cacao in a medium size lunch box and place balls loosely on top with room to move. Put the lid over and gently shake the lunch box in a circular motion until they are coated. Place in a storage container and keep in the fridge.
