Raspberry Mousse

Mousse means ‘foam’ in French and is generally a light consistency as it incorporates air for its soft, creamy texture. This light and fluffy raspberry mousse can be made with fresh, juicy raspberries, or frozen raspberries. You can’t use light/reduced fat cream as it needs the fat content to whip and hold air bubbles. For a healthier option, you can substitute the cream for plain Greek yoghurt. You can see from the Nutrition labels below, there’s a significant difference!

Tropical Fruit Sorbet

This is a great one to have on hand and keep in the freezer. Just take out the number of servings you require and serve them up with your protein, – voila, veges, done in no time!

Mulled Wine Poached Pears

Mulled wine is a great warming drink for European Christmas weather, so unless you have a Christmas in July event, Australia is usually better with icy, fruity drinks to celebrate! If you love the taste of mulled wine, this recipe is a great way to enjoy those spicy Christmas flavours all year round!

Chocolate Mousse

I heard this one day on the radio for a ‘Sizzler-like’ Chocolate Mousse & thought I’d give it a go. It’s so light and fluffy, and only 190 calories and 10g carbohydrates per serve! PLUS, a great source of protein. If you like a dessert after a meal, this is a cracker!!!
